heidenreich log – Use cases

heidenreich log was born from a simple idea: there are many things in life worth documenting. But not every one of them needs its own dedicated app.

One logbook for many things – not for everything

I didn’t want a collection of ten different apps, ten user accounts and ten different interfaces. I wanted a tool that adapts to my needs – not the other way around.

That’s why heidenreich log isn’t a blood pressure diary, a driving log or a falconry programme. It’s a flexible personal logbook that can handle all of these – and plenty more.

Tracking your health

Blood pressure, blood sugar, weight, temperature, sleep, medications – anyone who wants to track health data regularly soon ends up with apps that demand an account or push everything into the cloud. heidenreich log takes a different approach: all data stays locally on your device. No account, no registration. Your health data belongs to you – and only you.

Mobility and vehicles

Keeping a driving log, recording fill-ups, tracking meter readings and consumption – sometimes all you need is a quick way to capture important data and find it again later. Not every task requires complex specialist software. Often a log with the right fields is enough.

Falconry – and where it all began

The idea for heidenreich log started with falconry. A friend needed a simple way to document his bird’s weight, feeding, rest days, crop status and hunting results – without having to struggle through ill-fitting apps. What started there became a flexible logbook that can now be used for countless other purposes: from pet tracking and plant care to a personal mood journal.

You decide what to track. You define the fields. The app adapts to you.
